It’s been a little while since I’ve written anything.  That’s because

1) my life has been generally uninteresting and

2) i lost my stolen internet connection at my house and the school i was at last week blocks this site.  Doh!

the flu is going around here–i guess.  so many students were absent last Monday that they cancelled afternoon classes.  On Tuesday they decided that the second graders were the sickest and cancelled afternoon classes for them only.  (Why only the afternoon classes?  i dunno!)  Wednesday they cancelled the whole day of class–for second grade only.  First and third still had to come to school.  Thursday the second grade didn’t have to come in until 10am because maybe it wouldn’t be so cold for them to ride their bikes in at that time.

strange school policies, me thinks.  But this is also coming from the place that provides no central heating or air conditioning–yeesh, i’d stay home too!

On another note…Scotty and I went to see Muse on Friday.  It was a good show.  After that we ate hamburgers at Hard Rock Cafe (it’s next door to the venue)…Saturday we went back into the city for St. Paddy’s Day.  We had some Guinness at a pub and then went to a Mexican food place for dinner.  It was o-k but it ain’t got nothin’ on TexMex.

And yesterday…I went to the airport…to pick Lucy up!!  Yay!

We’re going to go to Korea at the end of the month.  I can’t wait!  I thought I would be saving money here but instead I just keep spending it on travel.  hee hee, oh well!  I’d rather have memories in my mental bank than money in the material bank.
